JENNY & CHRIS #FOREVERJONESIN | AUSTIN ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER

Beautiful Jenny and Chris. To have the privilege of capturing their engagement session is beyond words. What an honor. I’ve known Jenny for almost 10 years. We served in ministry together for a long time, and I love her heart. And Chris… He just loves her so well. I cannot wait to see the things they do for the Kingdom together. They are the type of couple that people aspire to be, and the kind of individuals that people look up to and love to call their friend. I also had the honor of photographing their wedding in May, and I can’t wait to share some of the gorgeous moments from that day.

I don’t always have the words, so I thought it appropriate to steal a few from Chris himself about the day we spent shooing these images. “The process of taking our engagement pictures, and now getting to go through them, makes me more and more excited to marry this beautiful girl. There is so much beauty in her that no picture could capture, but I will forever look back on these moments and remember. The laughing, the preparation, the prayer, the waiting, and the undefiled joy that make up this season are more precious than anything. There will be no greater joy for me than to be your husband, Jenny. I love you 📷: @kimberlybrookephoto (you are awesome, thank you!!)”

OK, now I’m crying. Here are just a few favorites from this heartfelt session.

AUSTIN TX MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHER | BEAUTIFUL MAMA TO BE

I just love the warmth of this beautiful maternity portrait session I captured in July in South Austin. This glowing Mama was so peaceful in her waiting to meet her little one. This gorgeous couple was a joy to capture and I can’t wait to photograph the baby as well! Here are just a few of the lovely photos we captured together.

CAITLYN'S SENIOR PORTRAITS | GRADUATING DURING A PANDEMIC

Graduation season is usually full of tradition : caps and gowns, parties and celebrations, ceremonies and maybe even trips or vacations.

Then, 2020 happened. This graduation season was unlike any other as seniors celebrated their milestones amid the COVID-19 pandemic. I felt for these young men and women as they watched so many things they expected to happen simply get cancelled, one after another after another. So many questions they faced during what should be an exciting time, that truly has enough questions all on its own without the country or world, for that matter, being “shut down.”

But this class is strong. I photographed many high school seniors this year, and each of them had such strength and peace about the issue. Yes they were uncertain, yes they were disappointed in missing out on proms and countless other events and celebrations, like being able to walk across the stage for their commencement ceremony. But they all were going with the flow and didn’t seem to let it get to them. I have so much more respect for this class after talking with the seniors who have gone through this unprecedented experience.

Beautiful Caitlyn is just one of those amazing seniors who graduated in the midst of COVID-19. She graduated from Reagan High School and will attend UTSA and study Nursing.

Class of 2020. Keep your head up, this is a unique experience that only you will be able to tell. I know you will tell it well.
