BESTIES FOR LIFE | AUSTIN BEST FRIENDS PORTRAITS

A good friend knows all your best stories, but a best friend has lived them with you.

These two girls have been through it all together, and might as well be sisters. I absolutely love spending an afternoon laughing with them and learning about their special bond. Genevieve is moving away, and she and Lexi wanted some special portraits to document their friendship before she left Austin. But miles won’t be able to separate these two ladies. Their friendship is the forever kind. I hope everyone has a friendship like this in their life. The kind where you laugh without saying word, finish each other’s sentences and understand each other in every way. These are the friendships that make life wonderful. Thanks for allowing me to capture your sweet friendship, Lexi and Gen! I know you’ll treasure these memories forever.

DRIPPING SPRINGS SENIOR GRAD | AUSTIN SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER

Now that it’s mid February, all I can think about is Spring, and that means that basically all I can think about is Senior Portrait Season! Two of my favorite things are undoubtedly the opening of Spring and all the new life and warmth it brings, as well as Senior Portrait time. I absolutely love capturing Seniors and their unique personalities, senses of style and learning more about their lives and future plans.

This is Paige, she is an amazing golfer. Seriously, so good. And she has a quiet gentle spirit, but the more you get to know her, the more her silliness comes out. I wanted to steal her wardrobe and actually went and bought the shoes that she wore in a few shots (the cute white sneaks with little pink flowers, so cute) because I couldn’t forget about them. That’s right ladies, when you come to shoot with me be prepared to tell me where you got your clothes because I might copy you, lol. THE WILHITE FAMILY | AUSTIN TX FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER

For 10 years I have known and worked with Julie… Mama of the Wilhite family. But that was long before her 2 beautiful children entered the picture. We have become such close friends over the years! I even captured the birth of one of her sons. We have both learned together and grown as photographers since starting our businesses and done countless photos for each other. It’s a lifelong trade. Photos for life. So again this Winter we met up to capture our annual family photos of her beautiful tribe. Here are just a few favorites. AUSTIN TEEN YEARS PHOTOGRAPHER | EVIE TURNS 13

The Teen Years. Such a magical time. I have really enjoyed adding my "Teen Years" Series to my portrait offerings. The series captures milestones at ages twelve or thirteen years, then again at fifteen or sixteen years, and finishes out at age 18 or for Senior Graduation Portraits.

Evie started her series right on the cusp of her 13th birthday. She is such a little beauty. I definitely was not this polished at her age. She enjoys competitive cheerleading, and time with her family, dogs and friends. We captured so many sides of her personality during her session in Austin. From snuggling with her puppies and jumping on the bed, to portraits on my studio backdrops, and some fun in the water at Zilker Park.

I love her photos so much. Her parents did as well and got an album and print box. The perfect combo! Here are just a few favorites from Evie's Austin Teen Beauty Portrait Session to celebrate her birthday as a teenager. Happy Birthday Evie. 

HELLO BEAUTIFUL WORLD | AUSTIN, TX PHOTOGRAPHER

2018, the year of the great host server crash. It was July of 2018, and all was well, until it wasn't. I have been in business since 2008, and for all of that time I've had the same website and email host. To make a long story short, one fine day, it was all gone. My entire website... and there was nothing to be done about it. All of the work I had put into my new site design just 2 years back, all of my blogs over the last 10 years. All of my emails. Vanished into thin air without explanation. It was awful. There were some tears and a maybe a few curse words.... just a few ; )

Now here we are almost a month after the crash. I am moving on and so excited that my website is now on new servers with a wonderful company and moving forward my site and emails will be safe. So as you may notice I have a beautiful new site design (not quite complete as of this post) and I'm so excited about it. Turns out it was a total blessing in disguise. I hope you love the new design and layout as much as I do! 

So if you're wondering why there's not much content here yet... Hang with me. We are back and better than ever! And I can't wait to share my newest work with you.
